World famous Beatles photographer Tom Murray has recently returned from another successful trip to New York, where he exhibited his Beatles collection, “Mad Day Summer of 68” at Art Expo 2007.

Tom was one of a select band of international photographers who have joined the 4,000 artists who showed their work, at what is now the largest art expo in the world.

With over 45,000 visitors, it was a hectic 5 days, and with so many famous artists, it was like a who’s who of the art world, with a sprinkling of celebrities showing their art as well as buying art.
The first couple of days are art buyers and gallery owners, and then it’s the fun packed public days.

Tom was thrilled that Lennie Kravitz stopped by, Lennie is a huge Beatles fan, Tom bumped into several old friends from his Hollywood days, even one who thought that he was long dead, not really Tom is alive and still photographing.

Since his return Tom has donated another one of his photographs in aid of Help the Hospices at a grand Casino Royal, James Bond night, at the famous Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane London

Toms work raised over £6500 and the evening brought in over £65,000. Tom has been asked to become on of Ten Master Photographers, they are to choose the Master Photographers of the future for a London Photographic Salon, judging takes place in September and the show is taking place in November and December. Works from this show will be auctioned and the money goes to the “Soldiers, Sailors and Airman’s Association Fund”,

Meanwhile Tom is off to Las Vegas for a show, San Francisco to do a TV programe and film on the Beatles. Then back to the UK for 4 shows, and then off to New York for another show in November.

Tom was asked recently to add up all of his donations, which are now in excess of £1,000,000, however the total of all the money raised by the various charities that he has helped, is now over £2.5 million pounds.
