World famous Beatles Photographer, who currently lives in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, UK has once again been donating his Beatles prints for charity.
This time Tom donated a print to the Help the Hospices Casino Royale Night, at the prestigious Dorchester Hotel in London. In front of an audience of over 300 people in evening gowns and black tie, during a fabulous dinner, Tom found himself next to, Sir Adrian Montague CBE; Chairman of British Energy the evening sponsor and Ann, Duchess of Norfolk, CBE; the evening’s patron, who founded the Help the Hospices Charity.
Again Tom’s photograph raised the highest amount of £6,000 helping the evening to raise over £65,000, this event has helped tom to raise over £32,000 for Help the hospices, added to his donations for Make A Wish and many other charities including Aids charities and Children’s charities, he is now well exceeding the £1,000,000 mark.
Tom is thrilled that coming up, will be an exhibition in Las Vegas, at Art Expo, the end of September, followed by exhibitions, in London, Birmingham, Leeds and Liverpool starting in October 2007, then swiftly back to New York for a month long exhibition, starting the first week of November. Each exhibition will keep to Tom’s wishes to involve local charities, on as many occasions as possible.
Tom recently took part in the DVD the Beatles London, Tom visited Tower Bridge Dockside locations, where he photographed the Beatles the other presenter on the DVD is Richard Porter founder of the London Beatles Fan Club and author of the guide to the Beatles London, so look out for that one.
Tom is also pleased that F1 Honda driver Jenson Button signed a print for a future charity auction, and he was thrilled not to be strangled by the bond characters at the Dorchester event.
